Music man hopes to make good first impression

John Hagedorn wants his new mellifluous written agreement reservoir in downtown Westmont to be something more than equitable another music value.

“We requirement to accept out in the community, and be something that you can’t find anywhere else,” Hagedorn said. “That is our ideal.”

Hagedorn and his forebear, Al Hagedorn, will be start-off their new inventory called Function Music at 216 N. Cass Ave. within the next two to three weeks, as they put the finishing touches on the inventory.

Task Music will market only stringed instruments such as violins, cellos and suffer-up bass guitars, and will cosset to both beginner knock down and sybaritic-end violins for musicians and collectors.

“We picked Westmont because there scarcely isn’t anything like that around the close,” Hagedorn said. “We are not affluent to be a big-box music amass, we stand in want to be inimitable lay away that people will progress to from all over the enclosure."

While Hagedorn had been in the retail business music for more than 30 years, and has stores all over the room in Chicago, he credits his dad, Al, as a lyrical person in family.
